:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Daniel Bernard -- Here is your answer : OK, Overcrowded prisons should be illegal. Judges should be rated on recidivism. Half of every sentence should be subject to parole. Every sentence that goes to trial in proportion to every plea bargain should be a two to one proportion or less so each party has an equal stake in the outcome. Sentences can be halved, doubled, or shared among defendants as a matter of negotiation. If the outcome is completely unjust, the parole board can correct the injustice. No death penalty if the parole board wants the prisoner alive. The death penalty takes so long to appeal, that the parole board has an opportunity to make their own findings. Death penalty cases are ordinarily a matter of getting rid of an undesirable prisoner that cannot be rehabilitated in prison. So just parole them to a life sentence, rather than the death penalty.
